 PINK FUSION jewellery & gift shop was opened in March 2005 by James & Cathryn Pink (Local Resident, born & bred!) Pink Fusion is situated in the small picturesque fishing village of Staithes, on the beautiful North East Coast of Yorkshire, between Whitby & Saltburn. The shop lies at the bottom of Staithes Hill, next to The Captain Cook & Staithes Heritage Museum. There are numerous cafes, shops, pubs, an excellent sea-food restaurant & Local Butchers Shop, Post Office & General food Store, Harbour, Beach, Lifeboat Station & Private Car Park, (Glen Vale) in Staithes. Staithes has lots of wonderful Holiday cottages & Bed & Breakfast accomodation & still offers friendly, local hospitality & charm.
Pink Fusion stock and sell contemporary silver jewellery, very nice modern one off pieces by Fiona Mackay, lots of unusual gemstone pieces including Amber, Original Whitby Jet, Fresh-water pearls, Garnet, Amethyst, Aquamarine, Cubic Zirconia, Jade, Moonstone, Carnelian, Lapis Lazuli, Opal, Topaz, Citrine & Turquoise (All the birthstones plus lots more) We also have a good selection of Gold-plated costume jewellery as well as coloured beaded necklaces, bracelets & earrings, many of which are made on the premises. We also offer a jewellery cleaning service, restringing of beads & jewellery repairs. Superb Staithes Prints by the late Fred Williams are for sale either with or without frames. These are beautiful, good quality, works of Art showing detailed sketches and water-colours of this famous sea-side fishing village. Hand-made local crafts such as wooden chopping boards, bowls, bangles & pens are a great gift item for the natural wood lover. Melissa Pink makes & sells her unique gift cards, based on her original art work & photographs of Staithes. We also sell miniture stone carved animals, Mother-of-pearl jewellery shell boxes & stone tea-light holders. A new line for 2007 are Lobster Pot planters for the garden selling at £25.00. These are also made locally and have proven very popular. We are open every day (except Thursday) throughout the Summer & at weekends during the Winter.
